Sunday Double Practice

Come on out today for Outdoor practice at 1:30 and then Indoor practice at 6pm. Bring plenty of water and don't forget about your recovery drink. (i like chocolate milk, some use endurox)

Beginner Speed Class

Coach Brandon is going to be starting a beginner speed skating class on Thursdays starting in October. For more information and to sign up you can go by skate south and talk to an employee or call them at (336)434-2554.

Get Ready!

It is time to start training for next season! Get into high gear and come to our practices. Sunday indoor at Roll-a-rink in High Point at 1pm. Also outdoor at kernodle middle school at 6pm - outdoor will be canceled if it rains.

Oudoor Practice

This week Coach Shannon is holding outdoor practice at Kernodle Middle School at 6:15pm on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th. We will get an update for wednesday soon and i will post it to let you know. You are more than welcome to come and watch any of our practices. If you need help buying skates or need guidance just let me know.

2011 Nationals are about over

Congradulations to everyone who skated Nationals. There was a lot of great racing! Everyone sould be proud of themselves for getting to go and compete! Hopefully next year we will have many more skaters able to compete. We had a lot of first time nationals skaters compete this weekend, kudos to you guys.

Good job High Point Speed team!! Keep up the good work.

Join our speed team!

Hey!!! I am creating this blog to get the word out about Inline Speed Skating! If you live in the High Point, NC area you should JOIN OUR SPEED TEAM!! The HiGH POiNT speed team is an awesome group of skaters of all ages and skill levels. We have skaters from the age of 3 up to 45.
Speed skating is an excellent form of exercise, so whether you just want to get in shape or compete, this is the sport for you!
